BEN KNIGHT PRESENTATION THIS SATURDAY

We are excited to announce that Ben Knight will be back in the Bear Cave this Saturday to be presented with a framed jersey for his service to Norths Basketball.

Having played 404 games in the NBL, and being an NBL champion with the Sydney Kings, Ben brought with him similar levels of success immediately, when he joined the Bears in 2012, taking the club to it’s maiden championship in Waratah Championship League competition, as well as being awarded Coach of the Year in the same season.

A natural leader and motivator, he has shaped the lives of many players, young and old, within the Norths community, through his depth of knowledge and his positive outlook on life.

Ben was a creator of opportunities for many people within the game on the North Shore, and was consistently facilitating ways to positively impact people, using the game of basketball as a vehicle for individuals to find confidence and connection.

Many of you have had the privilege to be trained by Ben and experience his trademark style of basketball. Now is the time to show Ben your appreciation. The presentation will take place at Men’s NBL1 half time.

Come along for an exciting night of basketball against our cross-town rivals Manly and also to thank Ben and acknowledge his outstanding contribution.
