DIRECTOR, NBL1 & SENIOR PROGRAMS | TOM GARLEPP

Norths Basketball is excited to announce that Tom Garlepp has come on board as our new Senior Program Operations Director.

Garlepp, who is the current Basketball Program Coordinator & 1st V Head Coach at Saint Ignatius College, Riverview, and Director of Basketball at Sydney Uni as well as the current NSW U20 Women’s Head Coach, will commence his new role with the club next month.

Tom was previously at the club as Representative Program & Facilities Manager and helped the club capture the 2014 Waratah Men Championship League title (now known as NBL1) as a player, the 2017 Waratah Men Championship League as an Assistant Coach, and he Head Coached Norths Waratah Women through their title seasons in 2018 & 2020.

Tom- "I am very much looking forward to returning to Norths. While I have been involved with the club over the last couple of years in more a volunteer capacity, I have seen some exciting developments take place across the senior basketball landscape in NSW, and I look forward to helping Norths continue to compete strongly in those contexts”.
