NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The 2022 Annual General Meeting of Northern Suburbs Basketball Association Inc., will be held at the North Sydney Indoor Sports Centre, on Wednesday 27 July 2022, at 6.05pm.

 The business to be transacted at the AGM is:

Confirm the meetings of the last AGM, held on 30 June 2021;

Receive from the NSBA Board reports upon the activities of the Association in the last preceding financial year (1 Jan 21 – 31 Dec 21);

To declare the result of the election of the following positions for Directors on the NSBA Board: President, Finance Director, 1 Ordinary Board Member

Receive the statements and reports which the Association is required to submit to the AGM pursuant to s44 of the Associations Incorporation Act, 2009;

Declaration of any Life Members.

Any matters requested in writing from an NSBA member eligible to vote

Nominations for election to the NSBA Board or Life Membership or notice of a matter to be raised at the AGM must be received by the NSBA CEO by 5pm on Wednesday 6th July 2022.

 Nominations for election to the NSBA Board must be signed by two current members eligible to vote and must be accompanied by the written consent of the nominee. Please note that all Board positions are purely of a volunteer nature and do not pay an honorarium.

Nomination forms and the criteria to be eligible for election to the NSBA Board or nomination for Life Membership are available on the NSBA website or at the North Sydney Indoor Sports Centre.
