officials - getting started.
getting started as a norths referee
To start your refereeing career at Norths, please follow the following steps:
Find out about our Upcoming Referee Courses and register here.
Attend the Referee Course to become trained and qualified. At this, you will also be set up on our Online Referee Rostering System.
Before refereeing your first game you will need to fill out the Statement by a Supplier Declaration and provide a copy to Norths.
For the PAYG Hobby Declaration Form, please fill out both sections and also tick "The supplier is an individual and has given the payer a written statement to the effect that the supply is either: made in the course or furtherance of an activity done as a private recreational pursuit or hobby.”
Norths is committed to 100% compliance in regard to WWCC, meaning every official over the age of 18 must have a WWCC and supply this to Norths.
For further information on Norths Referee Pathways and Development Program, please contact officials@nsba.com.au or call the office on 02 9906 7877.
We look forward to seeing you on court soon!
