PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT

Norths Basketball and Charity Bounce have agreed to a 3-year partnership agreement that will see Charity Bounce become the Norths Bears “Official Charity Partner”.

The partnership is designed to deliver a best practice model of community investment with a number of key aspects including:

·   Delivery of open-access community activities related to the development of resiliency skills for young people.

·   Development of positive media and marketing content focussed on community engagement.

·   Provision of customer and player engagement opportunities for young people and members.

We are thrilled to be the first Australian basketball organisation to officially partner and benefit from Charity Bounce’s resiliency focused programs. 
We are especially excited to work collaboratively with the Bounce team to deliver programs designed specifically to educate and inspire our Norths community“ said Norths Basketball CEO Bret Mactavish.

ABOUT NORTHS BASKETBALL 

Northern Suburbs Basketball Association (Norths Basketball) is a community-based sporting association with a Sydney North Shore history extending over forty years. Norths Basketball has grown from a small group of interested basketball players in the early 1980s to an association with over 5,000 registered playing members and a professional management team.

Charity Bounce exists to build resiliency and positive job futures for young people at risk (12-24), using innovation through basketball to create ‘out of reach’ opportunities that inspire and motivate change. With a focus on Indigenous and culturally diverse communities, including newly arrived refugees, we aim to move young people toward a more positive future through the development of sports, education and employment focused social programs.
