“Our Norths Basketball CEO Bret Mactavish, Basketball NSW CEO Maria Nordstrom and representatives from state and local sporting organisations including netball, gymnastics, volleyball, football (soccer) and AFL met Mr Tim James, Member for Willoughby to seek his support for Willoughby City Council’s Gore Hill Indoor Sports Facility project. The project represents a generational opportunity to address the long-term needs of community sport on the north shore.
The proposed Gore Hill Indoor Sports Facility would complement Gore Hill Oval modernization. It would create a regionally significant sporting hub in an area of critical need, supporting multiple sports across all levels from grassroots through to the elite, and the broader community.”
